About the Role Working within our Flexibles department, you will be responsible for ensuring a continuous supply of plastic products that meet our valued client’s specifications and quality standards. You will be involved in all aspects of the Plastics production processes, including: Operating modern automated plastics extrusion, conversion and recycling machinery Manufacturing finished goods including plastic bags and stretch film Carrying out basic maintenance on machines Completing process control documentation accurately and diligently The roster consists of 12‑hour shifts where you work 4 days on and then have 4 days off rotating across a 24‑hour 7‑day roster. The shifts rotate between day shifts of 5:45 am to 5:45 pm and night shifts of 5:45 pm to 5:45 am. About you We are looking for a motivated and dependable individual with a desire to learn. 2-3 years’ experience in running manufacturing machines A can‑do attitude and be a great team player Effective problem‑solving skills A strong mechanical aptitude, safety and quality-focused A High attention to detail Experience within the plastics industry in blown film and exposure to HACCP (desirable but not mandatory) Benefits Birthday Leave – Be paid to spend time with family, friends or with oneself doing the things you love on your birthday.
