Administrative Coordinator NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water – Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia. Package Salary ($113,574 - $125,720), employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. Full time temporary role until 30 June 2027. Newcastle location. About the role The Administrative Coordinator provides a comprehensive range of effective and efficient administrative, accounting and human resource support activities for the work unit. The role supports a team of administrative and field staff to deliver administrative services to the work area, with a particular focus on coordination, administration, reconciliation, day‑to‑day management and communication, prioritising support for insurance recovery data collation. Responsibilities Coordinate and administer administrative processes. Reconcile and manage day‑to‑day communication. Support insurance recovery data collation. Assist with budget preparation, financial and HR reporting. Handle complex and sensitive enquiries. Requirements Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience in a similar role with responsibility for preparing budgets, analysing financial and HR reports. Experience in administration, including financial and human resource systems and operations. Working knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations. Ability to produce high‑level complex reports, briefings and correspondence in a timely manner. What we can offer you Accrued days off in addition to annual leave.
