Remote work within Australia is welcome for this role, although we prefer a Sydney base. FP&A team The FP&A team drives commercial outcomes for Canva. It is a highly collaborative team of more than 40 finance professionals across the organization. We partner with people leaders to provide financial insight, budgeting, forecasting and analysis that supports strategic decision making. Location and salary Salary range: A$110,000.00 – A$140,000.00. Preferred base location: Sydney, remote within Australia acceptable. What you’ll be doing Engage with People leaders to understand their goals and connect them to Canva’s broader objectives, building a trusted partnership. Provide clear commentary, analysis, budgets and quarterly reforecasts, telling a compelling data story for the business. Contribute to project work and initiatives such as ROI assessments, business cases and process improvements. You will be primarily involved in Business partnering – build trust, drive engagement and grow a meaningful partnership journey with your stakeholders. Planning and analysis – develop clear commentary, set budgets and prepare accurate quarterly reforecasts. Project work – work cross‑functionally on initiatives that support broader team or company goals. Qualifications Experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis within a commercial environment. Curiosity, hunger for continuous learning and a succinct, engaging communication style. Aspirations to become a strategic finance business partner. Experience working with non‑finance stakeholders and a bias for action and problem solving. Adaptability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑adaptability environment. BI tools or Anaplan experience is a plus.
