About The Opportunity Reporting to the Foodservice State Sales Manager, you will be primarily accountable for achieving budgeted sales targets and developing effective sales strategies within a defined metropolitan sales territory covering Melbourne’s Western & Northern Suburbs and CBD. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Managing and meeting with your existing client portfolio Identifying and securing new business opportunities within your territory Infiltrate and increase product categories and ranges within your customers Managing the relationships with the distribution network Conducting sales presentations, coordinating promotions, merchandising & product development Planning sales activities and reporting on customer performance Providing market information and feedback to management You will have previous sales experience within the Food Service and/or FMCG industry, ideally with experience selling to QSR, hotels, restaurants/cafes, hospitals and industrial sectors. You will have a proven track record of managing and growing a sales territory and strong skills in business development and account management. The successful candidate will be results‑driven and possess demonstrated business acumen, with a view to providing the best possible results for the company while adding value to customers’ businesses. You will need to be highly organised, self‑motivated, responsible and accountable. Career growth opportunities are available for high performers.
