The company is investing heavily in brand development, product diversification (including egg whites and hard‑boiled products) and national market expansion. About the role: The National Sales Manager will be responsible for shaping and executing national commercial strategy — driving revenue growth, expanding market share and building deeper partnerships with major retailers and food service clients. This role combines a hands‑on sales leadership with strategic planning, providing the direction and commercial acumen required to take the business to a new scale of success. You will lead and develop a small, high‑performing team while working closely with the executive leadership group to deliver sustainable, profitable growth across multiple channels. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a national sales and account management strategy that supports growth. Identify and pursue new retail and FMCG partnerships. Expand the business presence across retail shelves and food service channels through innovative go‑to‑market strategies. Build strategic category and commercial relationships with key distributors. Provide regular updates and monthly board presentations on performance, opportunities and future growth plans. Drive revenue and volume growth in a surplus market through strong negotiation, pricing management and customer relationship development. Identify opportunities in value‑added egg products, including branded retail, egg whites and hard‑boiled segments. Lead national sales forecasting, margin analysis and pricing reviews in conjunction with the finance and operations teams. Develop commercial plans that align with production forecasts and supply capabilities. Deliver strategic recommendations to optimise distribution efficiency and customer profitability. Lead, mentor and develop a small team. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and proactive relationship management. Build capability within the team to strengthen customer acquisition, retention and market development. Collaborate with key departments — Marketing, Operations, Finance, and the National Manager — to ensure alignment between supply and sales strategy. Partner with marketing to build brand awareness and equity across retail channels. Support the development of new product initiatives and marketing campaigns that reinforce the positioning as a high‑quality, Australian‑owned producer. Oversee execution of promotional and brand development activities in alignment with company objectives. To be successful in this role, you'll bring: You’re a commercially astute sales leader with a strong background in FMCG or fresh food, known for your ability to develop strategy and execute with pace. You combine hands‑on relationship building with a big‑picture commercial mindset. You thrive in dynamic environments, are comfortable leading through change and have the drive to take ownership of this newly created role. 10+ years’ experience in sales leadership, ideally within FMCG, food manufacturing, or agricultural products. Strong existing relationships within retail and food service networks. Proven experience in developing and implementing national sales strategies that deliver measurable growth. Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills. Exceptional leadership and communication capabilities, with the ability to inspire and lead small teams. Commercially minded with a track record of driving profitability in competitive markets. Strategic yet hands‑on approach, with the ability to pivot quickly and deliver outcomes.
