Parts Supply Solutions / Hanover Displays is a leading supplier of CCTV and passenger information systems along with automotive parts used for the production and maintenance of buses. The business supplies, installs and maintains these products for a range of customers including OEMs, government and large corporate fleets as well as small family businesses. Due to the growth the business has experienced in Queensland we are looking for a Brisbane based Technician who has the drive and motivation to deliver support and installation services to our Qld customer base. Previous experience working on buses or in the auto industry and understanding electrical circuits is very important. Job title: Technician - Installer QLD Location: Based in our office in Brendale. Working locally and at times regionally. Responsibilities This role involves growing the business in QLD, and managing, carrying out our existing and ongoing workload. Installing and maintaining CCTV systems and passenger information systems, along with fault finding, repairs, and diagnostics of these systems on bus fleets. Assisting clients by resolving technical issues, working with them for programming and monitoring services. Programming and testing passenger information systems. Building rapport with customers and senior management on a daily basis. Reporting daily and providing paperwork on all jobs completed to head office. Liaising with customers, thus providing an outstanding customer experience for all clients. Skills and Attributes Qualification as an auto electrician or diesel mechanic, and ability to work autonomously. Minimum two years experience working on bus fleets and in the bus industry. Minimum two years experience working with electrical circuits in buses. Tech savvy, with willingness to travel interstate from time to time. Having a CCTV security licence is highly regarded, but if not, the successful candidate will be required to gain this licence (including a police check). Personal Qualities and Behavioural Traits Excellent communication skills and good phone manner. Team player, punctual, with great work ethic, neat and efficient. Pride in work, attention to detail. Self‑motivated, able to work autonomously as well as part of a team. Interstate and regional travel at times is part of the role.
