About the role This role is based at Ironbark No.1, located within the Bowen Basin, and presents a fantastic opportunity to be part of a new mine development. We are currently seeking qualified and experienced Geologists to join our dedicated Technical Services Team. Responsibilities Hazard plans and Permit to Mine development Utilisation of SIS / UIS drilling data for seam interpretation Geological / Geotechnical project work About you 2 years’ experience in underground coal mining as a geologist – highly desirable Tertiary qualification in Geology and/or Geoscience Experience with Geological modelling software e.g. AutoCAD, Deswick, Vulcan Strong communication skills both written and verbal You will be a self-starter with the ability to work autonomously Fitzroy Benefits for you This role is based in the Bowen Basin, providing great lifestyle options just 2 hours from Mackay and the Whitsunday coast.
