About the Role We are looking for an experienced painting professional who can carry out a wide range of preparation, painting, and finishing tasks to a high standard. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, proven experience in the painting trade, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, patching, filling, and priming Apply paint, varnish, stains, and coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment Interpret work specifications, drawings, and plans Mix and match paints to required colours and consistencies Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition Ensure worksites are kept clean, safe, and compliant with WHS standards Liaise professionally with clients and uphold the company’s high level of service Perform quality checks to ensure all work meets required standards Essential Requirements Certificate III in Painting and Decorating or a minimum of 3 years relevant experience Proven experience as a Painting Trades Worker Strong knowledge of surface preparation, application techniques, and finishes Good understanding of safety procedures and WHS obligations Ability to work at heights when required Current driver’s licence Reliability, strong work ethic, and attention to detail What We Offer Full-time ongoing employment Supportive and professional team environment Competitive wages based on experience Opportunities for skill development and career growth Varied projects across residential and commercial sites About the Company Illuminate Painting Bunbury is a locally trusted painting and finishes company known for delivering high-quality residential and commercial painting services across the South West.
