Head of General Practice & Dentistry (GTM & Strategy) Avoca is an AI‑powered voice and messaging platform transforming healthcare administration. The Role We are seeking a high‑agency, CEO‑like operator as the GTM Lead for our General Practice & Dentistry division, someone who will build and run this vertical with significant autonomy and act as the founder of this business line. Reporting directly to the founder & CEO, you will own the strategy, growth, and performance of this division end‑to‑end, define market segments, shape commercial approach, drive sales and partnerships, guide product development, and ensure the team and resources are in place to execute. Responsibilities Build the strategic blueprint for Avoca in General Practice and Dentistry—including market prioritisation, customer segments, and geographical coverage. Own divisional performance targets and set the operating rhythm required to achieve them. Lead all commercial activity for the vertical, from pipeline development to closing deals with major GP and dental groups. Create scalable playbooks for acquisition, expansion, and retention. Represent Avoca at industry events, conferences, and with key decision‑makers. Identify and secure partnerships with PMS vendors, referral networks, corporate groups, and other enabling partners. Build a durable partner ecosystem that compounds value over time. Work closely with product and engineering to shape roadmap priorities for General Practice & Dentistry. Translate customer needs into clear product requirements, ensuring we build the right capabilities to win and scale. Develop the organisational plan for your division: hiring needs, roles and responsibilities. Recruit, onboard, and lead a high‑performing team as the division scales. Drive accountability, transparency, and operational excellence across everything the division delivers. Continuously refine processes, pricing, and product positioning to accelerate growth. Qualifications 5–10+ years of GTM‑like responsibilities across sales, partnerships, or strategy in SaaS or B2B environments. Ideally 2+ years in a top‑tier management consultancy (McKinsey, Bain, or BCG) with strong strategic thinking and structured problem‑solving skills. Strong communication skills, executive presence, and confidence navigating senior stakeholders. Experience shaping or influencing product decisions (formal product experience not essential). Ability to build and lead teams as the division scales. Founder‑level ownership of a major business line within Avoca, operating like the CEO of your vertical.
