Hotel/Bistro located in Werribee is currently seeking the services of an experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team on a Full time basis on a rotational roster covering day, night and weekend shifts. We require an experienced person to join our team who lives, loves and breathes food. You will work closely with our current team of chefs, answering directly to the Head Chef, to create a successful Bistro and Sports Bar menu Role and responsibilities: Preparation of meals, ensuring presentation, portion control and quality is of the highest standard Prepare and Store food items, ensuring stock rotation and control is maintained Relieving and performing other duties as directed by the Head Chef or Management Consistently demonstrate professionalism, integrity, commitment, fairness and co-operation in all aspects of the above responsibilities You will also have: Sound cooking techniques, knife skills, time management and attention to details A strong understanding of food cost and control Great communication skills and ability to work in a motivated cohesive team To be successful it is essential you: Have experience in a busy, high volume environment Are level headed & reliable Are passionate about food Are professional Are available for Rotational Roster covering Day, Night and Weekend Shifts.
