Community Corrections Officer | Broken Hill Join the NSW Department of Communities and Justice as a Community Corrections Officer in Broken Hill. Location: Broken Hill, Western NSW. Employment type: Temporary. Salary: $99,938 – $110,271 pa plus superannuation and leave loading. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about meaningful community impact, possess cultural sensitivity, and are ready to support offender rehabilitation and community safety. Responsibilities Manage cases for individuals serving community‑based orders, including Parole Orders, Intensive Corrections Orders, and Community Corrections Orders. Collaborate with supervised individuals to develop and implement rehabilitative strategies. Monitor progress toward established goals and conduct home visits to ensure compliance with conditions. For some locations, work with offenders in custody to prepare them for successful reintegration upon release. Complete a mandatory four‑week, in‑person, paid training program at Corrective Services Brush Farm Academy. Experience in case management, high resilience, integrity, and a proactive, positive attitude. Ability to work from an office and interact face‑to‑face with people under supervision.
