About the opportunity: Our client is a leading financial services organisation going through an exciting period of transformation. As part of this journey, they’re strengthening their Risk & Compliance capability to stay ahead of a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape. This is a key senior role that will shape how the business manages compliance obligations and regulatory change across a large and complex enterprise. You’ll work closely with senior leaders to enhance frameworks, uplift governance, and drive proactive engagement with regulatory bodies. What you’ll be doing Manage and uplift the enterprise-wide obligations management framework. Maintain the central obligations register and drive ownership across business units. Lead horizon scanning and impact assessment of regulatory and industry change. Support oversight of regulatory programs and provide insights to senior executives and committees. Contribute to strategic responses to ASIC and APRA consultations. Provide thought leadership on emerging topics such as ESG, AI governance, conduct risk, and data ethics. What we’re looking for Degree in Law, Business, Commerce, or related discipline (postgraduate studies in Investments, Advice, or Superannuation highly regarded). Demonstrated experience in risk and compliance across superannuation, wealth management, or related financial services sectors. Strong understanding of Australian regulatory frameworks, including SIS, Corporations Act, and APRA prudential standards. Proven ability to influence and embed compliance culture across large organisations. Excellent analytical and communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
