Den Devine is the Gold Coast’s home of live music, great food, and unforgettable atmosphere. We host live music six nights a week and are recognised for our commitment to community, inclusivity, and original Australian talent. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Venue Manager to oversee daily operations, manage events, support our staff, and lead the venue into its next phase of growth. Key Responsibilities Oversee all venue operations, maintenance, repairs, and equipment care. Lead sales, staffing, rostering, training and recruitment across front and back of house. Manage bookings and client relationships, including pricing, contracts and hire packages. Coordinate live music events, logistics, suppliers, A/V equipment and incident management. Ensure venue presentation, cleanliness & safety standards are upheld. Manage licensing compliance (RSA, OLGR, OHS, Fair Work) and all applicable regulations. Handle administration including scheduling, invoicing, insurance and inventory management. Build strong relationships with musicians, vendors, local suppliers, and authorities. Promote Den Devine via social media, booking platforms and marketing channels. Support venue growth through cost control, negotiation and business improvements. Skills & Attributes Strong leadership – ability to inspire and manage a high-performing team. Problem‑solving mindset with excellent organisational and time‑management skills. Financial acumen – budget control and cost efficiency. Confident communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills. Marketing awareness, especially relating to hospitality and entertainment venues. Can work under pressure and make quick decisions during events. Meticulous attention to detail and passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. Required Qualifications Current RSA Cert III or IV in Hospitality (preferred) Diploma of Business (Hospitality & Tourism Management) highly regarded Previous venue or hospitality management experience essential.
