Assistant Director, Workforce Transformation Temporary with a Possibility of Permanency Details: We are seeking a strategic, results‑driven human resources (HR) professional with expertise in workforce planning, data interpretation, and project management for the role of Assistant Director, Workforce Transformation. What will you do? The Assistant Director Workforce Transformation will play a key role in building and implementing CIT’s VET Workforce Capability Plan and other deliverables aligned to CIT’s response to the VET Blueprint. This role will manage workforce data analysis and reporting to support informed, strategic decisions and set benchmarks for success. Responsibilities include designing and launching CIT job role families and profiles, development pathways, leading staff engagement through surveys and digital capability assessments. By converting data into action, the Assistant Director will help shape innovative recruitment, retention, and development strategies in collaboration with the project team to deliver on the VET Workforce Blueprint Project and make a genuine impact on the future of vocational education. What do you need? The Assistant Director will bring experience in strategic workforce planning, HR data analytics, and project delivery. To thrive in this position, the successful candidate will need excellent organisational skills, a flexible and proactive approach, and a passion for innovation, with strengths in translating HR data into practical solutions and driving positive change through collaboration. Knowledge of contemporary HR practices and ability to work within employment frameworks and legislation is essential. The successful candidate will be an effective communicator and collaborator, with experience navigating workforce or HR projects through complex challenges to resolve issues. Experience within the ACT or Australian Public Service or an educational environment is highly valued.
