As a member of the executive team, you'll collaborate to grow teacher expertise through professional learning communities. Your leadership in Universal Design for Learning and Strong Foundations will drive whole-school priorities that boost academic growth and nurture student wellbeing. Responsibilities Collaborate with teaching staff to co-design and implement a pedagogical framework grounded in evidence-informed teaching strategies, aligned with the Strong Foundations initiative. Support the Senior Leadership team to design a MTSS framework that supports consistent, high-quality literacy and numeracy instruction across classrooms and year levels. Work as part of the school leadership team to lead teaching and learning across the school, with a focus on Professional Learning Teams (PLTs) as a vehicle for collaborative planning, data-informed practice, and continuous improvement. Help shape the positive image of the school in the broader community by ensuring that school values are authentically embedded in daily practice, decision-making, and community engagement. Actively contribute as a member of the leadership team to support the implementation of whole‑school priorities. Eligibility / Other Requirements A minimum of four years full time (or equivalent) tertiary study leading to the award of a recognised school teaching qualification. Current professional teaching registration with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) or eligibility to obtain TQI. Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
