Adolescent Forensic Mental Health – Early Intervention Clinician, Multidisciplinary Position at NSW Justice Health & Forensic Mental Health Network (JHFMHN) delivering care to adolescents and young people in contact with or at risk of contact with the criminal justice system. Role Overview The clinician will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering evidence‑based early‑intervention services, working with young people with disruptive behaviour disorders and other mental health issues, and supporting families to manage emotions and behaviours. Responsibilities Assess, plan and deliver individual and group interventions for adolescents in secure inpatient, community and court settings. Collaborate with other clinicians and stakeholders to develop and implement care plans. Educate and support parents/carers to increase knowledge and capacity to manage behaviours. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold professional standards. Essential Requirements Awarded degree in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, or other allied health profession with current AHPRA registration or equivalent professional membership. Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 (CNS2) – current authority and at least 3 years full‑time clinical experience with postgraduate qualifications. National Criminal Record Check and Working With Children Check. Valid driver licence with eligibility to drive in NSW and willingness to travel on outreach sites.
