Work Health and Safety Manager

Campbell Transport is seeking to appoint a Senior Work Health and Safety Manager to join our Head Office located in Perth. Campbell Transport is a locally (WA) owned leading transport and freight company offering bulk haulage, general freight and multiple services to our mining clients. Operating for over 20 years, our comprehensive range of efficient commercial freight and logistics solutions has made us one of the leading transport companies in Western Australia. This diverse role will see you over seeing all aspects of health & safety including providing specialist advice to management, develop and implement staff wellbeing strategies, and continually promote a proactive health and safety culture for all stake holders. Responsibilities Review and analyse the organisations health and safety requirements are being met and update safety strategies and frameworks where required. Provide advice, information, instruction, and training on local WHS issues. Helping and managing the risk associated with hazards across the workforce. Reviewing and analysing injury and incident reports and data. Checking WHS standards and compliance with WHS policies, including workplace inspections, building evacuations, induction, and training of staff. Travel to all sites to ensure safety practices are being followed and implement new practices where required. Qualifications Proven experience in a fast paced and multi-disciplined safety role. Health and Safety qualifications - preferably diploma or higher. Previous experience as a WHS Manager. Experience and Transport and/or Mining highly desired. In depth knowledge of up to date WHS legislation. Analytical and organisational skills for effective reporting and compliance. Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement capabilities. Will confidently contribute ideas and concepts and bring them to life.
