About The Role As the DFV and VAN Crisis Service Clinical Coordinator, you will provide advanced clinical, strategic, and educational leadership across integrated crisis services in rural and regional Emergency Departments. You’ll Play a Key Role In Strengthening frontline capability by training and mentoring health staff in identifying and responding to DFV Coordinating consistent pathways for DFV screenings, disclosures, and crisis responses Providing expert consultation on complex cases Supporting the implementation of Safer Pathways across the district in partnership with the Integrated DFV and Crisis Service Program Lead Where You’ll Be Working You’ll join the District Violence, Abuse and Neglect (VAN) Team, a supportive and committed group dedicated to preventing violence and improving outcomes for victim‑survivors. Your base location is flexible, with options across Maitland, Tamworth, Manning, Armidale or Moree, with travel within the district being part of your role. Provide examples that demonstrate your experience. Demonstrated high level clinical skills, experience and use of substantial professional judgement in providing and leading integrated responses to VAN for adults and children and knowledge of health service delivery and referral options for these clients. Explain your experience. Demonstrated high level knowledge and understanding of issues surrounding domestic and family violence in priority populations including Aboriginal communities, and CALD communities.
