About the role We are seeking an experienced Assets (Plant) Administrator to join our team at Pembroke Resource’s Olive Downs Complex. Pembroke Resource’s Olive Downs Complex is a greenfield project located 80 kilometres south-east of Moranbah which commenced mining operations in mid-2023. Thiess has been awarded a five-year contract to deliver full service mining operations, including mine planning overburden removal, drill and blast, load and haul (Autonomous), water management and rehabilitation as well as construction of the mine infrastructure. Responsibilities Providing administrative support to the maintenance department ensuring key objectives are achieved Input and maintenance of the asset master records Compiling the monthly plant reports and balance sheetsAssisting the Maintenance Manager as and when required Responsible for daily fuel and oil reconciliation Management of timesheets Raising of Purchase Orders Processing of Monthly Contract Invoices Qualifications Proven experience in a similar role within the mining industry highly regarded Highly motivated and committed to meeting deadlines and delivering results in a busy, fast-paced environment Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting workload Intermediate computer skills in MS Office with an emphasis on Excel together with a working knowledge of JDE (desirable but not essential) Knowledge of the QLD Coal Mining Safety & Health Regulations and/or First Aid beneficial What Thiess Can Do for You Permanent full-time positions Thiess’ commitment to ongoing training & development Health & wellbeing rewards program through AIA Vitality Salary sacrifice options - novated leasing Genuine Choice Rosters - (Live Local, DIDO & FIFO) Range of corporate discounts including health insurance (Medibank), travel & retail products.
