In this role, you will drive implementation, ongoing management and monitoring for the SOCI program within P&C with a focus on probity checking. You will ensure Optus’ alignment with our requirements under the government regulations and Optus’ TIPCM, drive cross-functional collaboration, and embed robust data to support ongoing compliance and operational perfection. Your day to day will consist of : Program Implementation & Rollout Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of Probity Checking to meet SOCI requirements across Optus P&C. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and landmarks for each phase of the program. Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure timely and effective implementation and compliance with Optus’ obligations. Monitoring & Compliance Ensure ongoing compliance with SOCI obligations. Conduct regular reviews and audits. Prepare and present compliance reports to senior leadership and regulatory bodies as required. Partner Engagement Act as the primary P & C point of contact for SOCI-related matters. Engage with internal partners and SME's Liaise with external partners such as regulators, auditors, and industry bodies. Data Management Ensure accurate and secure data collection, storage, and reporting aligned with SOCI requirements and follow Optus privacy and data governance policies. Collaborate with Data Governance, InfoSec and Privacy teams to maintain data integrity and accessibility. Support the development of dashboards and reporting tools for SOCI metrics. Project Management Apply -practice project management methodologies to drive program success Track progress, manage budgets, and provide updates on program status to executive sponsors. Anticipate emerging threats and adapt frameworks and procedures as the program matures. What You'll Bring: Proven experience in implementing and running programs to align with external requirements, ideally within a regulated industry. Strong project management skills with experience demonstrated through on time delivery of organisation wide programs. Excellent stakeholder management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document, present, and report on project milestones, risks, controls, and compliance matters. One team approach to ensuring deliverables can be met. Solid understanding of data governance, privacy and information security principles. Ideally, familiarity with SOCI legislation and its implications for critical infrastructure providers, or equivalent regulatory employee due diligence programs.
