Job Overview Milestone Technologies is seeking an IT Support Representative to support day-to-day IT operations and provide exceptional customer service to end users. This role focuses on resolving routine technical issues, supporting hardware and software requests, and ensuring a consistent, high-quality IT experience across the organization. Our goal is to deliver fast, friendly, and effective technical support while helping employees stay productive and connected. Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for all IT support requests (in person, chat, video, or ServiceNow). Provide basic troubleshooting and support for laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and printers. Support both Mac and Windows systems; assist with software installs, account access, and connectivity. Help configure user accounts, VPN, Wi‑Fi, and email on company devices. Manage and update ServiceNow tickets - triage, resolve, or elevate as needed. Assist with asset provisioning and deployment, including setting up new‑hire equipment. Support AV/meeting room equipment (Zoom, Teams, etc.) and perform basic break/fix tasks. Work with senior technicians and vendors to complete repairs or fulfill hardware requests. Maintain accurate documentation and inventory records. Follow established IT processes and contribute to improving day‑to‑day support operations. Technical Knowledge (Preferred) Basic understanding of Mac OS, Windows, and Chrome OS. Familiarity with Active Directory, Google Workspace, and Office 365. Awareness of network basics (Wi‑Fi, TCP/IP, VPN, connectivity troubleshooting). Exposure to ServiceNow or other ticketing systems. Experience using Zoom, Teams, or other video conferencing tools. Understanding of basic AV setup and cable connections a plus. Skills & Attributes Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms. Detail‑oriented and organized, with strong follow‑through. Eagerness to learn new technologies and grow within IT. Team player who can also work independently. Strong sense of accountability and professionalism. Qualifications 1–2 years of IT support or help desk experience preferable (internships or school projects acceptable). CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, or related certification a plus. Bachelor’s or Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
