Key Responsibilities Provide clinical teaching, orientation and mentorship to new graduates and less experienced staff. Support the Nurse Unit Manager and Educators in creating a positive learning culture. Assist with competency development, goal setting, and portfolio maintenance. Contribute to quality improvement, research, and evidence-based practice initiatives. Design and deliver evidence-based educational content and training sessions Support clinical skill development and competency assessments Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance learning outcomes Monitor and evaluate educational program effectiveness This role is ideal for nurses who thrive under pressure, embrace complexity, and are committed to excellence in critical care. About You You will have: Relevant intensive care experience and qualifications Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Minimum 3 years post-registration experience in nursing. Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills An ability to effectively manage multiple, diverse and competing priorities and demonstrated resilience within a stressful and complex environment Postgraduate qualifications in Critical Care / Intensive Care Nursing will set you apart and are highly valued in this role. To be appointed to the role to the role you must be registered, or eligible for registration, as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
