Head of Paid Social KingKong, South Yarra, Victoria, Australia Base pay range: A$100,000.00/yr - A$130,000.00/yr We’re looking for an experienced, leadership‑oriented Facebook Ads expert to drive our Paid Social team’s growth. This is a high‑impact role in a fast‑growing digital agency that has generated over $1.33 billion in sales for more than 400 industries. Responsibilities Overall responsibility for managing the Paid Social team in their day‑to‑day responsibilities, including performance management and professional development plans for team members Mentor and train the Paid Social team, ensuring quality work is being delivered Establish and document processes for the effective delivery of the Paid Social function In collaboration with Senior Management, develop and manage an appropriate Key Performance Indicator (KPI) structure for the Paid Social team Assist your team in troubleshooting client issues Be the first level of escalation for client‑related issues for the agency Lead the growth of the Paid Social division through innovation and results Distribute and manage client work appropriately across the Paid Social team Collaborate with other departments with regards to processes and policies that impact on or are impacted by the Paid Social function Prepare reporting and feedback for Senior Management on the department's performance to aid in the business decision making process Setup, manage and optimise campaigns in Facebook's Ads Manager Analysis of data and analytics to identify areas of opportunity and utilise conversion rate optimisation tactics (i.e. A/B, split‑testing, etc.) Write effective direct response ad copy that sells (we’ll teach you this if needed) Educate and keep Account Managers in the loop on our strategies and tactics Keep your finger on the pulse to identify opportunities within paid social for the benefit of both the agency and our clients Qualifications Advanced knowledge of Facebook Ads Manager Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics Advanced knowledge of Google Tag Manager Thorough knowledge of email marketing systems (InfusionSoft, MailChimp or similar) Experience writing Direct Response Copy is a HUGE PLUS Excellent verbal & written communication Be efficient, organised and task oriented Ability to manage multiple tasks & projects at once A positive and solution oriented attitude Active participation in learning and development Good grasp of Photoshop Experience mentoring and supporting a team Strong leadership ability Excellent client escalation abilities Company first mindset Data‑driven decision making Benefits Extensive training and full support – we take training very seriously and will provide you with the industry's very best training, giving you the knowledge and confidence needed for greatness Generous salary – we want Australia's best talent and reward as such Flexible Work – because sometimes you just want to wear your comfy pants and slippers Jawdropping headquarters in South Yarra (just off Chapel St.), close to cafes and public transport Driven and vibrant team of the country's most switched on digital marketers and growth experts (who actually walk the walk) Amazing growth prospects and upward mobility, build an empire within our fine progressive company How to Apply Please write a cover letter that tells me about YOU – why you think you would be the perfect fit for this role.
