Teacher – Home School Coordinator Permanent part-time (0.7FTE) position commencing Term 1, 2026 at Department of Education, Western Australia . Location: North Kalgoorlie Primary School, Lamington suburb, Kalgoorlie. The school opened in 1902 and has a tradition that brings ex and current students and staff together. Role Overview As a Home Education Moderator, you will liaise with home‑educating families to evaluate their programs and student progress. You will ensure that educational programs delivered at home meet the requirements of the Western Australian Curriculum and Assessment Outline and that students are making progress. The role requires a thorough understanding of the WA curriculum across all learning phases to conduct rapid and comprehensive evaluations. Although the position is attached to North Kalgoorlie PS, it is based at the Kalgoorlie regional office and will liaise with families in the Kalgoorlie and North country region.
