About The Role Reporting to Senior Sourcing Specialist, the purpose of this role is to support the sourcing team by assisting in day‑to‑day activities, ensuring processes are followed and data is accurately maintained to enable smooth project execution. Key Responsibilities Follow established sourcing processes to ensure product quality, fitness for purpose, and compliance with required specifications. Support sourcing specialists and the manager in gathering product information, quotations, and samples. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand basic sourcing needs and assist in providing sourcing solutions. Conduct cost comparisons to identify the most cost‑effective sourcing options. Assist with the preparation and updates of Product Specification Sheets and coordinate stakeholder sign‑offs. Maintain up‑to‑date supplier and product data, including managing cost movement approval processes. Assist in the management of private and exclusive label projects to ensure timely delivery. Support the follow‑up of Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR) and help resolve quality issues. Participate in ad hoc projects as required. About You Prior sourcing experience is not essential, but any exposure to the import or shipping industry, particularly within an office environment, is an advantage. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Effective communication skills and a willingness to learn. Proactive and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and basic formulas. Able to take initiative and work with minimal supervision and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment. Adaptable and willing to take on new tasks as the role evolves. Experience liaising with suppliers in China and other Asian countries; Chinese language skills desirable.
