The Role: As a growing business, this role is focused on driving progress and efficiency across project and business operations. You’ll work closely with the business owners to ensure weekly objectives are met, helping to deliver exceptional results for our clients and partners. Your Attributes & Responsibilities: Organisational skills and outstanding attention to detail will be required to: Assist business owners with progressive agenda items to ensure deadlines are met. Organise and manage project files, including strict version control of architectural plans, selections, supplier quotes, engineering, and building approvals. Draft and check trade plans, complete take-offs, and quantify materials using in-house estimation tools and client selections. Organise and obtain job-specific trade and supplier quotes, ensuring all required elements of work are included. Prepare contracts including preliminary agreements, residential building contracts, and supporting documentation – with special attention to inclusions, exclusions, provisional sum allowances, and terms & conditions. Superb interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are essential. You must be able to interact professionally and with confidence to: Provide clear and timely communication to clients, suppliers, and tradespeople. Facilitate weekly agendas to ensure business progression between stakeholders. Work closely with our team to manage relevant processes and facilitate the streamlined progression of client projects between stages. Complete new enquiry follow up calls. Demonstrated proficiency with core software (Excel, Word, Adobe) is required and you should be a quick learner with new technology to: Merge supporting document files and submit for client approval using DocuSign. Ensure final building plans, contract documents, reports and approvals, and other supporting information are uploaded to relevant trade and client portals within The Shed House software. Maintain the sales database, process checklists, and client portal throughout each project. Create and update marketing content including newsletters, blogs, and social media posts. Ensure software checklist items are completed. Demonstrate productivity and outcomes. Prepare job progress reports and schedule updates for internal review. Assist with data analysis and provide relevant insights around risks and opportunities. Experience within the construction industry is desirable but not essential if you are a fast and willing learner.
