Supply Chain Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Dunbier Marine, a leading manufacturer of high-quality marine accessories based in Braeside, Victoria. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for optimizing our supply chain operations and ensuring the efficient delivery of our products to our customers. Reporting to the General manager you will manage the daily purchasing requirements of the company, maintain the bill of materials systems, directly supervise our Melbourne warehouse operations and teams to ensure company objectives and standards are met. What you'll be doing Overseeing the procurement, production, and distribution of our trailer accessories to meet customer demands Developing and implementing strategies to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance delivery times Collaborating with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, manage inventory, and optimize logistics Negotiating with suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions for materials and services Monitoring and analyzing supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards Managing and mentoring a team of warehouse personal Managing OOS and inventory levels across all sites Place orders directly with local and international suppliers Maintain and develop our Bill of materials systems Manage stock take processes and regular cycle counts Work with branch teams to maintain inventory control including managing inventory transfers on all sites What we're looking for Extensive experience (5+ years) in a similar supply chain management role, preferably within the manufacturing or logistics industry Strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, and logistics best practices Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically Proven track record of driving process improvements and delivering cost savings Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills Proficient in using supply chain management software and data analysis tools—SAP an advantage What we offer At Dunbier Marine, we are committed to providing our employees with a rewarding and fulfilling work environment.
