Supply Chain Coordinator

Job Overview Isuzu Australia is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to assist with forecasting demand for parts, and for ordering parts from Isuzu Japan and local suppliers. Responsibilities include: Assist with reviewing stock order files and generate parts purchase orders for Isuzu Japan and local suppliers. Ensure target service and stock turn levels are achieved and maintained. Review the backorder report on a daily basis and generate orders as required. Work with Isuzu Japan and local suppliers to expedite parts deliveries in a timely manner. Manage the regular review of parts backorders to ensure demand does not exceed supply where possible. Collaborate with suppliers to expedite delivery of urgent backordered items. Conduct root cause analyses for recurring backorders to address systemic issues (e.g. forecasting errors or supply delays). Review stock levels, create a Bill of Materials and generate build orders. Track and monitor progress of kit builds with the warehouse to ensure kits are built within required timeframes. Conduct regular reviews of managed inventory to identify items not sold or used within the specified timeframe. Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role (in supply chain management and/or warehouse operations). Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyse and make sense of data. High level of computer proficiency, particularly with Excel and other Microsoft products, as well as experience with inventory management systems. Strong interpersonal skills. Excellent time management skills with the ability to set and achieve goals. Perks: We have an active employee social club offering fully paid fun activities.
