We are seeking an exceptional Gen AI Architect to join our Sydney team— a visionary technologist ready to drive innovation and transform our business landscape. The role, beyond code, focuses on delivering high‑quality results for clients, building scalable AI architectures, defining data strategies, partnering with cross‑functional teams, and mentoring peers. Job Responsibilities • Design, develop, and implement generative AI systems such as large language models and conversational AI. • Translate high‑level business requirements into robust technical solutions using NLP and generative models. • Conduct deep research to keep NCS at the forefront of technological advancements. • Define strategies for data acquisition and preprocessing, ensuring AI systems are high‑quality, unbiased, and ethically sound. • Collaborate closely with Software, Data Engineering, and DevOps teams to deploy models into production environments. Qualifications Previous experience architecting Gen AI solutions. Proficiency in Python, Java, C++; experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch. Strong knowledge of NLP techniques and generative AI models. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for deploying and scaling AI systems. Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills. Effective communication and collaboration abilities. Proven track record of developing and deploying AI/ML systems. Experience with large‑scale data processing and model training. Experience designing and implementing AI architectures and pipelines focused on scalability, performance, and maintainability. Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialist) preferred but not mandatory. Domain knowledge where generative AI can be applied (content generation, chatbots, language models) is a plus.
