Gen AI / Artificial Intelligence Sales Specialist Position Type: Remote (Teleworker). You will work primarily from home. Job Description As a Gen AI / Artificial Intelligence Sales Specialist you will be the subject‑matter expert in positioning HPE AI offerings, leading customer engagements and influencing complex sales discussions. Your focus will be on new business development, upselling, cross‑selling, and renewal work through solution selling, account planning, and senior stakeholder relationships. Responsibilities Drive revenue growth through AI‑powered solutions and scalable business models. Lead the commercial strategy, positioning HPE as the go‑to AI solutions provider. Build strategic partnerships for embedding AI into business operations. Champion innovation and execution, ensuring rapid and successful delivery of AI solutions. Define and execute a go‑to‑market plan that positions HPE as a leader in AI‑powered business solutions. Drive sales, partnerships, and client acquisition for AI‑driven software solutions. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure AI innovations deliver real business value. Maintain knowledge of competitors to strategically position products and services. Establish consultative relationships with clients to understand industry‑specific needs. Drive proposal development, negotiation, and deal closing. Support account managers, partner with channel, GSI, and SDP partners, and participate in client engagements up to C‑level for complex solutions. Interface with internal and external experts to anticipate customer needs and facilitate solution development. Build sales readiness and reduce client learning curve through knowledge transfer. Education and Experience Required Demonstrated success achieving progressively higher quotas. 3–4 years of advanced Gen AI / Artificial Intelligence product sales experience. Prior solution / platform selling experience. Experience managing an end‑to‑end sales lifecycle – from discovery to delivery. Knowledge and Skills 3–5 years of selling Gen AI / Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning related products. Knowledge and expertise with ASX 200 and enterprise clients. Experience in data science, analytics, or big data markets. Proven track record selling enterprise analytics, AI or modeling software. Deep understanding of key applications and workflows that use Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and AI. Ability to engage in technical and business conversations at multiple levels, including Director/C/VP level. Skill in navigating complex opportunities across enterprise personas. Capability to work at both tactical and strategic levels. High service knowledge and professionalism in researching and sharing service‑related information with account teams and customers. Able to work with channel partners to increase sales. Rigorous use of Salesforce CRM to update deal profiles and forecast accurately.
