About Our Volunteer Roles Our volunteers assist in our Residential Aged Care Communities in the following ways: Companionship and social support - spending time with and assisting residents to improve their social connections. Activity assistance - helping residents participate in and enjoy scheduled fun programs. Facilitating groups - using skills to facilitate group activities. Musicians and entertainers - sharing talents or interests with residents. Gardening, groundskeeping, and pet care - maintaining plants and assisting with pet care. Reception and administration - greeting visitors and supporting the administration team. You will find a list of our current advertised volunteer roles outlined below.
