What’s On Offer Work close to home – Home Care Workers needed in the North Sydney area Above Award rate $46.91 per hour + Super + paid KM's Casual roles with a view to permanent part time positions Employee benefits program + salary packaging up to $18,550 tax free each year Paid CPR and First Aid courses What We’re Looking For Enjoy having variety in their day Can build positive relationships with clients and families Care about assisting our aged community members to live independently at home for longer Are comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask your manager for help In Addition, You Will Need An open class Australian Driver's Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support or Disability Experience of 6 months or more in a similar role that includes personal care, manual handling, hoist training and assisting with medications Role General housekeeping and making beds Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors Washing, folding and ironing laundry Meal preparation and grocery shopping Getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed for the day Assisting clients to take their medications Assisting with mobility and therapy goals Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia Providing social and emotional support Providing the client with transport to lifestyle activities or appointments Helping the family carer to have a break or an opportunity to do other things Why choose Silverchain Silverchain Group is proudly one of the few Australian home care providers accredited in both national health and aged care standards.
