We're seeking a Labourer / Pump & Pipe Installer to join our Melbourne branch. This is your chance to be part of a skilled assembly, installation, and commissioning team that makes a real difference. What You’ll Be Doing This field‑based role offers variety, with an exciting mix of site work and workshop duties. You'll get to contribute to important projects across the water and wastewater sectors . Key Responsibilities Install & Commission Pump Systems : Work on everything from small to large‑scale systems, ensuring each installation runs smoothly. Mobilisation & Demobilisation : Efficiently manage the setup and breakdown of pumping equipment on‑site. Workshop Preparation : Assist with equipment prep, maintenance, and repairs to ensure the job’s ready when you are. Functional Testing : Test pumps and systems for performance before going live. Safety Focus : Ensure all work complies with OH&S and environmental regulations. Customer Service : Represent the brand with professionalism, delivering exceptional service on every job. Teamwork : Work alongside other tradespeople and subcontractors to get the job done. Specialised Dewatering Tasks Installation and removal of wellpoint dewatering systems, sewer bypass and water transfer on project sites . Conduct daily maintenance checks on pumps and dewatering equipment. Set up and commission pumps, generators , and water treatment units for site use. What You Need to Succeed Experience in Dewatering : Particularly with wellpoint, as well as pumps. Driver’s Licence (essential). Construction White or Blue Card (preferred). Physically fit and able to handle labour‑intensive tasks . Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to safety, punctuality , and reliability .
