Employment Type: Part-Time (32 hours/week), Ongoing Salary: Lived Experience Level 2 + Superannuation + Salary Packaging Location: Mental Health & Wellbeing Centre – Sunshine Hospital About the Role An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, compassionate Consumer Peer Support Worker in our new Western Health Mental Health at Home Program. This aim is to deliver timely, community-based treatment and support as close to home as possible, with the equivalent level and quality of care to that of an acute inpatient unit. You will be a valuable addition to our multidisciplinary team who continue to strive to improve and support our consumers. About You A personal lived/living experience of mental health challenges, mental health crisis/trauma which has resulted in engagement with mental health services. Previous experience in a designated consumer peer support role, particularly public mental health. Ability to mutually support consumers in their journeys; sharing your own lived experience to inspire hope and possibility. Well‑developed communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to consult, liaise and work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
