Employee assistance program. Key Responsibilities Installing, replacing, and refurbishing conveyor belt, rollers and roller frames. Handling steel cord, fabric, and woven belts. Managing conveyor belt systems and related components, including roller frames, skirting systems, belt cleaner systems, conveyor belt tracking units, and chutes. Operating conveyor vulcanizing and belt handling equipment. Repairing and maintaining conveyor belts and associated components. Reporting to the supervisor / LH regarding any breakdown and potential risks and safety concerns. Job requirements Prior relevant conveyor experience in all splicing, repairs, belt change outs, inserts, re-splices, equipment operation and shutdown preparation. Well-developed verbal / written communication and interpersonal. Demonstrated ability to safely manage a variety of tasks and achieve effective and timely outcomes. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment. Actively seek out ideas for continuous improvement. Provide a satisfactory National Police Check certificate. Have an ability to pass a full pre-employment medical test and Drug and Alcohol Screening. Full Australian working rights (Visa, or permanent residency or citizenship). Certificate III in Polymer Processing. Current Full Australian Driver's Licence. High Risk Work License including Forklift, Dogging and Rigging, and EWP preferable.
