Overview Role Overview The Head of Sales – ANZ is a senior leadership role responsible for owning and executing the ANZ sales strategy, driving net new revenue, and building a scalable sales function for the region. This role combines hands-on enterprise selling with strategic leadership, including pipeline management, partner engagement (IFS & Acumatica), go-to-market planning, and the gradual build-out of the ANZ sales team. The successful candidate will bring deep knowledge of the ANZ enterprise software market, strong CXO-level relationships, and proven success selling ERP or complex technology solutions with long sales cycles. Responsibilities Sales Leadership & Strategy Own and execute the ANZ regional sales strategy aligned with global revenue objectives. Develop and manage annual and quarterly sales plans, targets, and forecasts. Provide regular pipeline, forecast, and performance reporting to global leadership. Net New Business Development Lead net new customer acquisition across Australia and New Zealand. Personally manage and close strategic, high-value ERP opportunities. Drive complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from prospecting through to contract execution. Ensure consistent qualification, value articulation, and deal governance. Partner & Ecosystem Management Build and strengthen relationships with IFS and Acumatica regional partner teams. Identify and execute co-sell and joint go-to-market opportunities. Represent Enterprise Analytics at partner events, industry forums, and customer engagements. Team Building & Coaching Initially operate as a player–coach, with scope to hire and develop sales resources as the region scales. Mentor and coach sales and pre-sales contributors to improve win rates and deal quality. Embed best practices in enterprise selling, forecasting, and CRM discipline. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with pre-sales, delivery, marketing, finance, and global practice leaders. Ensure smooth handover from sales to delivery, maintaining customer confidence and commercial clarity. Support regionally targeted marketing campaigns and demand-generation initiatives. Monitor ANZ market trends, competitor activity, and customer buying behavior. Provide insights to shape pricing, packaging, and positioning for the region. Identify new verticals, industries, or service offerings aligned with regional demand. Key Requirements Experience & Background 10–12+ years of experience in enterprise software, ERP, SaaS, or technology consulting sales within Australia and/or New Zealand. Proven track record of closing net new ERP or complex technology deals. Experience selling into mid-market and enterprise customers. Prior exposure to ERP platforms such as IFS, Acumatica, NetSuite, Dynamics, SAP, or Oracle is highly desirable. Experience working with consulting-led or services-based sales models. Demonstrated success working with long sales cycles and multi-stakeholder environments. Leadership & Commercial Skills Strong commercial acumen with the ability to own regional revenue targets. Experience building or scaling a sales function is highly advantageous. Excellent stakeholder management skills at CXO and executive level. Strong negotiation, presentation, and contract management capabilities. Comfortable operating in a global, matrixed organization. Personal Attributes Strategic, results-driven, and hands-on when required. High level of professionalism and credibility with senior clients.
