Overview Senior Systems Engineer (Infrastructure & Cyber Projects) role at Mane Consulting . A stable MSP client base with plenty of genuine project and escalation work with a good balance of infrastructure, advanced support, plus a meaningful slice of cyber engineering. There is no sales targets or quotas; this role is purely focused on technical delivery. Base pay range A$125,000.00/yr - A$145,000.00/yr Responsibilities 60% Infrastructure Projects: Deliver end‑to‑end solutions for existing managed clients – migrations, modern workplace rollouts, server/network/security uplifts. 30% Advanced Escalations: Act as the senior escalation point across Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, networking, firewalls, backup/DR, and more. Mentor L1‑L2 engineers rather than just "taking tickets." 10% Cyber Solution Engineering: Stand up POCs/trials, lead deployments, and enable clients with cutting‑edge SaaS security tools (EDR, email security, SWG/ZTNA, SAT). Qualifications 5–10 years as a Systems / Senior Systems / L3 Engineer in MSP or multi‑customer IT environments. Strong technical capability across Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, Windows Server, AD, networking, and backup/DR. Proven project delivery experience – planning, building, testing, cutover, and handover. Clear communicator, calm under pressure, collaborative, and commercially aware. Curiosity about cybersecurity and willingness to grow into solution engineering.
