Procurement Category Manager, Facilities Computershare Australia is seeking a dynamic Procurement Category Manager to lead sourcing initiatives for Facilities in our Melbourne hybrid workplace. Location Melbourne, Australia (Hybrid – 3 days per week in office) Job Description We are building a global procurement team focused on delivering cost efficiencies, risk management and innovation. As Category Manager, you will shape and execute sourcing strategies across one or more procurement categories, driving commercial impact and aligning procurement goals with business objectives. Key Responsibilities Drive strategic procurement initiatives, using data and market insights to develop impactful category plans. Build and maintain strong vendor relationships that foster collaboration, innovation, and performance. Lead key procurement activities such as contract management, commodity analysis, and continuous improvement planning. Take ownership of all aspects of business travel management globally ensuring compliance, efficiency, and optimization through standardized processes, documentation, and controls. Champion process improvements to transform business travel into a strategic advantage—focusing on cost control, innovation, risk mitigation, and user experience. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross‑functional teams to align procurement goals with broader business objectives. Stay ahead of market trends and industry best practices to maintain expert knowledge and elevate the procurement function. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree and/or 10+ years Category Management experience. Contract negotiation experience. Expertise with Excel and spend dynamics reporting ability. Preferred Qualifications Expert knowledge in Facilities category. Proven leader in driving change and transformation. Strong analytical skills and proactive nature.
