Overview Immediately Available 6-month FM Category Manager role Opportunity for contract to be extended beyond 12 months About Our Client This is an exciting opportunity to join a large organisation within the healthcare industry. The company is known for its innovative approach to procurement and supply chain management, providing essential services that support quality care and operational excellence. Job Description Ensure the successful roll out of a new waste supplier to all locations across the state of QLD Develop and implement category strategies for facilities management to drive cost savings and value creation. Lead supplier negotiations and manage key supplier relationships to ensure optimal outcomes. Analyse market trends and supplier performance to inform procurement decisions. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and align procurement strategies accordingly. Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and relevant regulations. Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain for facilities management categories. Monitor and report on supplier performance against established KPIs. The Successful Applicant A successful Procurement Category Manager - FM should have: Proven expertise in procurement, specifically within facilities management categories. Outstanding on-boarding experience - ensuring a smooth transition from outgoing and incoming vendors. Strong analytical and negotiation skills to manage suppliers and achieve cost savings. Solid understanding of procurement processes, policies, and compliance requirements. Excellent communication skills to engage with internal stakeholders and suppliers effectively. Proficiency in procurement software and tools. A relevant qualification in procurement, supply chain, or a related field is highly regarded.
