Requirements for this role: Flexible hours available No experience required for this role Working rights required for this role Expected salary: $33 - $43 per hour This is an immediate start position About the Role: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals living with a range of disabilities. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of others and is looking for a rewarding career in the disability sector. Key Responsibilities: Provide personal care and daily living assistance, including assistance with mobility, bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. Support individuals with physical, emotional, and cognitive disabilities to achieve their personal goals. Implement and follow care plans tailored to each individual’s needs. Promote independence and dignity while ensuring the safety and well-being of clients. Assist with community engagement and social activities. Provide emotional support and encourage positive mental health. Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with policies and regulations. Skills & Qualifications: Certificate 3 in Disability or equivalent qualification (or willingness to obtain). Experience in the disability support sector (preferred but not essential). Compassionate, patient, and empathetic with strong communication skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A valid driver’s license and reliable transport. First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain). National Police Check and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain). NDIS screening clearance.
