Council of the City of Sydney, Österreich Lyka Vollzeit

Lyka is an Australian founded pet wellness company that's shaking up an outdated industry and paving the way for happier, healthier pets. Despite medical advancements, animal lifespans are on the decline. Today, the average pet only reaches 37% of their full potential lifespan, and statistics show many suffer from dental disease, cancer, and obesity. Simply put, the status quo is not enough. As humans, we've experienced firsthand the positive impact fresh wholefoods can have on our health and wellbeing, and we believe our furry friends deserve the same. We're on a mission to do just that, starting with nutritionally balanced, wholefood meals delivered directly to doors around Australia. As the world's most sustainable pet wellness company, we're putting pets and our planet first – one bowl at a time. Today, we are proud to share that we've served over 50 million meals to pups and their parents across Australia, and this is just the beginning. Our vision is to create multiple nutritional products, adding disease prevention meals and supplements, and expanding into new markets. Currently, we have a team of 250+ pet-obsessed people, and we're continuing to grow. These carefully selected people are dedicated to building the next generation of technology and products to help empower pet parents to take control over their pet's wellbeing. Our Mission The time we share with our pets is being cut short. Despite medical advancements, they're getting sicker earlier. They're dying prematurely. The industry has it backwards – prioritising treating symptoms instead of addressing the root cause. That's where we come in. At Lyka, we take a preventative, holistic and personalised approach to pet care. We look at the full picture, factoring in the diet, lifestyle and environment of each individual animal. We don't stop at symptoms, instead we dig for the root cause. We create nutrition plans unique to each pet, because it's not just about living longer, but living well too. Our mission is to increase the lifespan of dogs and cats. The Role The Veterinary Channel is critical to Lyka's mission of becoming Australia's most recommended and used fresh, whole-food nutrition brand. As we scale our presence in clinics, we require a strategic and execution-oriented sales leader who can drive consistent, high-quality field execution, elevate professional relationships, and deliver sustained customer acquisition and revenue growth. In this role you'll lead, coach, and expand our national field team, ensuring excellence in territory planning, clinic engagement, sales capability, and execution of science-led narratives. What you'll do Drive and optimise the national veterinary channel strategy, including clinic segmentation, coverage models, visit cadence, and resource allocation. Set and manage clear KPIs for clinic acquisition, sales conversion, pipeline activity, and territory performance. Lead, coach, and scale a high-performing Veterinary BDM team, overseeing recruitment, onboarding, capability development, and performance management. Support and engage key clinics and stakeholders through joint field visits, relationship building, and representation at veterinary conferences and events. Create and maintain the national sales playbook, ensuring consistent narratives, objection handling, referral pathways, and clinic enablement tools. Drive execution excellence by overseeing clinic coverage, monitoring pipeline health and performance metrics, and leading structured monthly reviews. Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, R&D, Education, Finance, Strategy, and Data to align commercial execution, share insights, and inform strategic decisions. Ensure strong CRM usage and reporting standards, leveraging HubSpot to track activity, forecast performance, and provide regular updates to senior leadership. Requirements 5+ years' experience leading a field sales team, ideally within veterinary, animal health, medical, or pharmacy channels; strong FMCG field leadership considered. Demonstrated success leading and scaling field teams, including coaching, capability building, and performance management. Strong experience engaging with and influencing clinicians, healthcare professionals, or technical decision-makers. Expertise in territory planning, segmentation, sales operations, and funnel management. Proven ability to use HubSpot or similar CRM to manage pipelines, forecast, and extract insights. Strong commercial acumen, confident in revenue reporting, forecasting, and KPI-driven performance cycles. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, comfortable delivering both commercial and educational narratives to clinic staff. Willingness and ability to travel frequently: 2-3 interstate overnight trips per month, plus regular intrastate field visits. Benefits Work in a fast-growing start-up, experiencing what goes behind the scenes to sustain hyper-growth for a start-up with a physical product.
