Deutsche Bank provides strategic advice over the full range of advisory services from a global platform with a strong presence in the US, Europe and Asia Pacific enabling us to complete innovative cross-border and regional transactions. Our Origination & Advisory (Corporate Finance) business provides the full range of advisory and financing products and services. Our clients include large-cap and mid-cap corporates, financial institutions, governments, government agencies and financial sponsors. With special emphasis on the ability to initiate, finance and successfully complete complex transactions across product classes, our advisory teams provide innovative solutions for our clients based on advice by industry and product specialists.

Your key responsibilitiesOrigination and execution of investment banking transactions (including M&A and capital markets), within renewables, power & utilities, mining and energy sectors.Geographical sector remit with focus in Australia market.Participate in and drive marketing efforts, including preparation and delivery of presentationsBuild valuation models to support client discussions and conduct due diligenceDay to day handling of transaction execution and related client interactionTransaction documentation and internal approvals processesAttend client meetings independently
Your skills and experienceAt least 6 years of relevant corporate finance experienceWorking history in at least one vertical within coverage sectorsHighly motivated and self-driven, with ability to multitask and manage transaction teamsStrong quantitative skills including extensive experience with financial models and valuation techniquesStrong communication skills, with ability to present to senior-level audiencesStrong interest in relevant sectors and energy transition - ability to identify and articular themes across the sector internally and to clientsProven track record of training and mentoring team members
