Role Description: The Administration Officer is an exciting 6-month Max-Term Contract opportunity in our Legal team based at our Perth Central Park office. This role plays a pivotal part in supporting the General Counsel and Governance business unit by delivering high-quality administrative and practice management support. The Administration Officer is responsible for managing legal records and documentation, processing invoices and purchase orders, assisting with budgeting and reporting, and coordinating responses for audits and compliance activities. Working closely with the Managing Counsel, General Counsel and other key stakeholders, the successful candidate will ensure smooth operations across the Legal function while maintaining strict confidentiality and attention to detail. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building strong relationships, and takes pride in delivering accurate, timely and customer-focused administrative services. Job responsibilities: Provide high-level administrative and clerical support across the General Counsel and Governance team, including coordinating meetings, workshops and events. Manage legal records and documentation, including file creation, archiving and maintaining information systems via Synergy’s document management system. Process purchase orders and invoices in SAP and Ariba, and assist with financial management activities such as accruals, budgets, and reporting. Collate monthly and annual reports on operating costs and accruals and coordinate responses to external audit requests. Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams and external legal service providers to support smooth business operations. What you will bring: Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administrative role, with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn new systems quickly. Experience in financial processes such as invoice management, budgeting and reporting, ideally with SAP or Ariba exposure. Strong organisational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach to supporting team outcomes. So, what's it like working for Synergy?
