We’re proud to deliver quality food, refreshing beverages, and vibrant entertainment in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere About the Role We’re looking for a Casual Manager to support our day-to-day operations in the pub. This hands‑on role involves overseeing service and staff, ensuring smooth operations, and creating a great customer experience. If you’re eager to grow in the hospitality industry, this position offers flexibility and the chance to work in a dynamic environment. You’ll assist the General Manager in maintaining a venue that includes bar, bistro, and kitchen teams, as well as gaming outlets and accommodation. Key Responsibilities Support daily operations across all departments Maintain high standards for service, compliance, and audit scores Ensure cash-handling procedures and venue policies are followed Assist with opening/closing procedures and maintenance schedules Help manage stock control, ordering, and receiving Contribute to operational plans and guest experience initiatives Aid recruitment and onboarding during peak periods Collaborate with Marketing on promotions and community engagement Assist in organizing entertainment (music, trivia, activations) Monitor customer feedback and suggest improvements Foster a positive, team-oriented workplace culture Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in hospitality Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Knowledge of food and beverage service standards Understanding of safety and security protocols Proficiency in cash handling and basic financial management A passion for creating memorable experiences Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Responsible Conduct of Gaming (RCG) + (ARCG) Availability to work nights, weekends, public holidays, and late nights About Hunt Hospitality Hunt Hospitality is an ever-growing company with grassroots community values and a strong dedication to hospitality management.
