Mount Coolum Early Learning is looking for a passionate and driven Assistant Centre Manager to support the Centre Manager and help lead a dedicated team of educators. We’re offering a fantastic opportunity for a Diploma-qualified Lead Educator, 2IC, or someone currently working towards their Bachelor degree in Early Childhood to step into a dynamic leadership role. Key Responsibilities Assist with daily operations including compliance, staffing, enrolments, and resources. Mentor and guide educators to deliver inclusive, high-quality early learning programs. Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with families and the wider community. Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, professional development, and team wellbeing. Represent the centre with professionalism and warmth, both internally and externally. Step into the Centre Manager role when required to ensure smooth operations and consistent leadership. What We’re Looking For Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or working towards Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Experience as a Lead Educator or 2IC with leadership capabilities and a growth mindset. Sound knowledge of the EYLF, National Quality Standards, and regulatory requirements. Current Blue Card, First Aid, CPR, and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications. Excellent communication and mentoring skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach. Passion for creating inclusive, engaging environments for both children and educators.
