Join Peninsula Health as a Biomedical Engineer managing medical equipment lifecycle across multiple sites within a newly merged health service. Your Role Key responsibilities include: Managing the life cycle of medical, surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic equipment across Peninsula Health sites. Contributing to planning, implementation, maintenance, and quality assurance of medical equipment management. Building strong relationships with clinical teams to deliver tailored support (Class 1 engineers). Supervising junior engineers, mentoring trainees, and providing on-the-job training (Class 2 engineers). Working under the guidance of the Biomedical Engineering Manager with significant autonomy and responsibility. About You The company is looking for candidates with: Bachelor degree in Engineering (Biomedical or Electrical) or Applied Science. Bachelor of Science with major studies in electronics and biomedical instrumentation may be considered with suitable experience or aptitude. Formal or informal study of human physiology.
