What you'll Bring Bachelor of Civil/Structural Engineering with a minimum 2 years’ experience, with a solid background in either project engineering, bridge design engineering or bridge asset management Ability to produce accurate and detailed records of inspections, project management or design outputs Passion for best practises and continuous improvement, a strong eye for detail and dedicated commitment to effective WHS practices. Organisational and time management skills. Commitment to continued professional development. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. A keen problem‑solving mindset, a can‑do attitude and be willing to work and travel into rural environments with potential to be working at heights and in confined spaces on some projects. Ability to contribute to the team and nurture a supportive environment for other staff members. You will be a permanent resident of Australia or hold/be progressing towards, Australian Citizenship and have a valid Australian drivers licence. With flexibility of working locations available for the right candidate, we are ideally looking for someone who is keen to transition from a project engineering background into a more technically oriented work profile focused on the management of bridges. Initially the candidate will be trained to undertake bridge inspections which over time will transform into a project management role with more opportunities to engage in technical design and/or asset management.
