Aurizon Kilburn, South Australia, Australia We are looking for a Technical Trainer to be based in Kilburn to provide training, assessment, and certification of employees and contractors in accordance with relevant standards. Overview In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the skills and knowledge of our workforce If you are passionate about training and development and are eager to contribute to the growth and success of our organization, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities Delivery of Certificate IV in Train Driving training, covering subjects such as Safeworking, Shunting, Train examination, and daily driver tasks. Delivery of Engine & Airbrake Training. Use technology like Virtual Reality (and potentially driving simulators in the future) to enhance training delivery in a safe, controlled environment. Assist operations with on‑job assessments where required. Provide support and field instruction, coaching, and guidance for rail operations trainees. Help determine training needs of drivers to identify opportunities for process improvement and ultimately improve the effectiveness of training. Qualifications Certificate IV in Train Driving or equivalent. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or willingness to undertake the qualification). Rail industry training experience.
