Accounts Officer - Part Time - 3 Months Temporary Our client is a well‑known global learning and professional development organisation currently undergoing a major systems integration across finance, technology and operational platforms. As the business transitions into new processes and prepares for handover to a centralised shared‑services function, they require a capable Finance Officer to support the team through this critical period. About the Role Reporting to the General Manager, this part‑time temporary role (3–4 days per week, school‑hour friendly, with flexibility to adjust around your needs) provides hands‑on support across AP, AR, collections and system administration. You’ll also assist with testing and validating new finance processes as the business integrates into Business Central and prepares for final handover in late March. Key Responsibilities Process Accounts Payable; including remittances, reconciliations and invoice management Support Accounts Receivable and Collections, managing long‑standing customer accounts Daily banking, allocations of payments & reconciliations Work across Xero, Dynamics 365 and internal platforms Assist with system testing, reporting and data validation during integration Upload and process invoices via SAP Ariba Provide general finance admin and ad‑hoc support to the General Manager Help document processes ahead of transition to shared services About You Experience in AP/AR or a broad Finance Officer role Strong Xero capability (essential) Exposure to SAP Ariba, Dynamics 365 or Business Central an advantage Comfortable working through changing processes and system testing Detail‑focused, organised and able to work independently Collaborative and team‑oriented, with strong communication skills Why You Should Apply School‑hours flexibility across 3–4 days per week Hands‑on role during an exciting systems integration project Great mix of AP, AR, admin and system support Friendly, down‑to‑earth local team Hybrid arrangement with some WFH flexibility if required Ideal short‑term assignment through to late March Role Details 3‑4 month temporary contract (Dec–March) Part‑time: 3–4 days per week | School hours (approx. 9 am–3 pm but these can be flexible / modified to suit) Dee Why office with some WFH flexibility if required Immediate start preferred How to Apply If you’re seeking flexible part‑time work and enjoy supporting finance operations during transformation, we’d love to hear from you.
