Accounts Receivable Officer Join to apply for the Accounts Receivable Officer role at JBS Australia Pty Limited We have a great opportunity for someone to join the Accounts Receivable team based in Lidcombe. This role provides much needed support to the Accounts Receivable Manager, ensuring the focus is on minimising the company’s debt exposure and ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts. We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Officer that is highly motivated and demonstrates sharp attention to detail. Responsibilities (include but are not limited to) Managing customer accounts in accordance with company credit terms and policies Timely collection of outstanding debt Inbound and outbound collection calls and emails Performing account reconciliations Allocation of all cheques/cash, credit card, BPay and direct deposits Liaising with internal departments to ensure all invoice queries are resolved and paid Validation and resolution of claims in accordance to policy Prepare statements and monitor customer accounts for overdue invoices and deductions Issuing and processing customer credit notes Ad hoc tasks as required About you Minimum 2 years’ experience in A/R or similar role Customer focused attitude Degree qualified in a, finance, accounting, or equivalent discipline would be advantageous Advanced level of computer literacy Motivated, analytical thinker, keen to contribute and refine current processes Loves to work as part of a team and achieve shared goals Benefits include (but not limited to) Discounted meat products Retail discounts with national partners Health insurance discounts on Bupa Health and Medibank Private Employee Assistance Program (access to counselling) Employee Wellness Program What next?
